What is the Pet Lovers Junior Club (PLJC)?
The Pet Lovers Junior Club (PLJC) is Singapore’s only kids’ club created especially for young animal lovers. Established by Singapore’s largest pet care retailer, Pet Lovers Centre, the club is open to children aged 5 to 10. Its aim is to equip kids with knowledge and hands-on experience to become responsible current or future pet owners, through structured yet fun and engaging activities held during the school holidays.
What can kids expect from the workshop?
PLJC workshops are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, typically conducted during the school holiday period. The programme combines structured theory lessons—taught by a local veterinary expert—with one practical session at a participating animal welfare group. This mix of classroom learning and real-world exposure helps children develop valuable insights into animal care, empathy, and pet responsibility.
Who can join the club?
The club is open to all children aged 5 to 10 who have an interest in animals and wish to learn more about caring for them.
